Pagoda - White Bear Lake

As newcomers to WBL, we really miss our favorite Chinese restaurant from our old neighborhood, but we recently discovered Pagoda, and I was genuinely impressed. The sesame chicken was possibly the best I've ever had. If the recipe were locked away in a vault, I’d recruit a team like in Ocean’s 11 to get it!

I was pleasantly surprised by my experience. You might not notice it as you walk by, but the food here is fantastic. The service is excellent as well! I highly recommend this charming little spot to everyone in the area.

We have dined at this restaurant multiple times over the nearly thirty years we’ve been visiting, and I honestly can’t recall a single visit that left us disappointed. The prices are very reasonable, and the portion sizes are generous compared to other places. They have a wonderful skill in blending spices and use just the right amount of salt. Everything we’ve tried has always been delicious, and the owners and staff are genuinely friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Fresh food every time. You've never been on my orders, which are usually quite large orders. Love the sesame chicken, beef lo my, chicken chow my, kao pow chicken, fried rice and cream cheese puffs! The lady who works the front register is always friendly and friendly clean and friendly environment.

Decent pricing. Super fast for carry out order. The sweet and sour chicken was delicious as was the beef lo mien. Cream cheese puffs were my favorite. Oh and the fortune cookies were not offensive in any way. Not that the restaurant chooses or prints the fortune paper inside.
