The Lake Grill - Whitby

Our work group got together for a working lunch at the Lake Grill in Whitby June 28, 2017. There was about 25 of us and everyone raved about the food.The place is not very big and it was full to the rafters in all the seats we didn't take up. I have never heard anyone state that their meal wasn't good. A couple at our table had the soup

This my nth time eating here at The Lake Grill, and like before, the food, the ambiance and the service was simply AMAZING! Food was totally delicious!

The food was delicious but.....We had a reservation and still waited 20 minutes to be seated. We were left waterless and waiting for someone to take our order for another 10 minutes. When I ordered an app I had also ordered a caesar, which I had to ask for again long after my app was devoured. Lastly, I found a hair in my plate. When I pointed it out she responded with "that's weird" and later when she came back, she asked if I had found any more. Dont know if I'd go back. Can't recommend it based on the above.No way Jose.

We just got back from a lovely Wed night din out. The chef, apps, dessert and service was excellent. We regret that we didn’t support a wonderful local restaurant more often, but will.

I don’t usually post reviews but we had such a wonderful evening celebrating my husband’s 50th birthday. Both the food and service were exceptional. We came from out of town so we took a chance based on the reviews I read and we were not disappointed. It was just the evening I was hoping for. We will definitely be back.
