Our servers were great, they were very patient with us and recommended the best dishes drinks. The restaurant seemed busy but we were accommodated too very well. The ambiance was nice and the staff were very friendly. Food: We ordered the diablo camerones Six plump tiger shrimp sautéed in our homemade Diablo salsa, Pico de Gallo and diced jalapenos. Served with garlic toast for dipping , the Ensenada Enchiladas and Grilled Tacos al Carbon beef Everything was delicious. For dessert we got churros. The portion sizes were filling and food was overall amazing
Upon arrival, we were informed that the restaurant was fully booked with a wait time of about an hour. We left our number so they could call us when a table became available, and to our surprise, we received a call just 20 minutes later telling us our table was ready. Our server greeted us with menus, and we decided to order drinks first. The server recommended some margaritas, and I chose the Blue Coral margarita while my wife opted for a red Sangria. Both drinks were strong and not watered down at all; my margarita even had a salted rim. It packed quite a punch, and I ended up asking my wife to help me finish it since I had to drive home. For our starter, we shared the Edith's empanadas, which came with 15 pieces. They were perfectly fried and filled with hot beef, accompanied by a salsa dipping sauce. While they were delicious, I was a bit disappointed with the serving size considering the price. Five or six pieces would have felt more justifiable, and I think the three-pack of street tacos would have offered better value for money. For the main course, my wife ordered the Surf n Turf Chimichanga, which featured tender sirloin steak and shrimp, served with Spanish rice and wrapped in a crispy flour tortilla. It resembled a massive deep-fried burrito, and the steak was juicy and flavorful; we really enjoyed it. I opted for the Enchiladas La Paz, a house specialty that included shrimp, lobster, and scallops rolled in soft corn tortillas, topped with cheese and a creamy tomatillo sauce. It reminded me of a Mexican lasagna. The seafood was perfectly cooked and not rubbery at all. The dish came with refried beans, Spanish rice, and a salad.
I really enjoy this restaurant. While I wouldn’t go so far as to say I love it, I definitely have a fondness for it. They offer a great variety on the menu. The prices may be a bit steep, but the portion sizes are...
The staff is exceptional and the food is fantastic. It's a truly enjoyable place. The music on Friday nights is incredible as well. You should definitely check it out; you'll love it! It feels like you're in...
Overall, it was a mediocre experience. We ordered the nachos with chorizo cheese dip, which was a pleasantly cheesy dish that arrived warm and gooey.
