Halibut Time Fish - Whitby

My parents have introduced my family to this restaurant and we missed it. I finally found it on google for door dash. I was hesitant to order my fav the cheeseburger as I had delivered a burger from another place and was not impressed. it was just as good as eating at her place. to my surprise there was a small container with hits for my burger that was not listed on the website. my hubby put his job on a plate when he opened it and said that this is a meal really, this was the fullest meal my family had by ordering. we'll do it again!

Holte halibut and pommes, car stinks strong of strong, bad fish for days! cook tells me he fries everything in the same oil, garnel, talapien, fish absorbs all the other dings in the same oil. halibut strong tasting, not the healed we also used! Charge...extra for tartaric acid sauce, just one package per fish piece! we are moving on, I'm sorry!

Had the sr. special. fish and chips, much on the teller. halibut and brot very tasty. a little disappointed that the pommes were only warm. pour vinegar and salt. good to go.

Stopped by Halibut House with my son for a quick lunch between games at a hockey tournament. This location was just off and was a stand alone building with a parking lot. When we got inside on a Saturday afternoon there were only a...few people there, so we decided to eat in. I ordered a fried King Cod with a Greek salad for myself and the fried Haddock and chips for my son. the cod was very good and so was the salad. My son loved the fried Haddock with the English style batter that is more puffy than what he is used to. We are from NYC so the fried fish down here is done differently. They gave him a heaping portion of fries that there was no way he could finish; perhaps a grown man could! I think I paid somewhere in the vicinity of for everything. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I will definitely go back here when I am in the area.

There are half a dozen fish and chip places within a short drive, I went here one night on a recommendation. They had specials listed on printed inch sheets of paper taped to the walls around the place. I ordered the one special that...was taped to the wall directly behind the person taking my order. After I paid I realized that I'd been overcharged. The server now appeared to be very confused about what to do and approached the cook. I guess he didn't know how to refund my and change either (or didnt want to) so he offered to add an order of cole slaw to which I reluctantly agreed. They said if I want the special next time to point to the sheet of paper on the wall and ask for that. Apparently they charge full price unless you do this !? Ok so get home and the dinky tiny order of cole slaw was not worth the amount I was charged for it. Meanwhile the food was average at best. To the owner/manager: You know the amount of competition you have in the area, why would you mess with the customer, over charge them, mistreat them? I shall not return, you have lost future business with your short sighted attitude about doing business.
