My sister and I decided to try it for lunch and we were not disappointed. I ordered the weekend breakfast, which had everything I wanted to try. It was delicious and beautifully presented! I highly recommend it. My sister tried the mushroom galaxy castle and she loved it, even though it was her first time trying something vegan. The prices were a bit high, but considering the quality of the organic ingredients and the gluten-free options available, I think it was worth it.
I had a great experience at this restaurant with a wonderful atmosphere and fantastic vegan food. I was relieved to find out that they knew the ingredients in their dishes, which is important for those with allergies. The southwest Scramble Wrap I ordered was delicious and flavorful, with a creamy sauce and a generous amount of Daiya cheese. The fries I had were clearly made from freshly cut potatoes, not frozen precut ones. The restaurant had a clean environment and a lovely view of the city from the terrace, but I chose to sit inside. I appreciated the free Wi-Fi, which allowed me to do some work while enjoying my meal. The prices were reasonable, especially compared to downtown Toronto. I was happy to discover vegan brunch options in the Durham region, although I wish the restaurant was closer to me. I definitely plan on returning for a long weekend when I have the chance to visit Brooklin.
Great restaurant with a beautiful vegan selection. Smoothies go well with dinner or dessert. Let me say that for a meatless meal this is the best texture-based meal I had, that gives the meat-like experience. A number of dishes use Shitaki mushrooms, tofu, tempeh, etc., which are marinated and come well from tasting. With these dishes with open mind you will not miss meat for a few of these dishes. Make sure you get the right sauce for your dish espisch when it comes to the faux wings. Atmosphere: relaxed atmosphere. Like a piece of Queen Street transplanted in Durham. Service: Dishes really quickly came out what was excellent. The staff was super friendly and had a lot of knowledge about the dishes. Dishes in Picture: Gandhi smoothie, Poutine with Cremini Mushroom Sauce, Bacon Maple Tempeh Sandwich, Spicy Buffalo Wings, General Copper (inspired by General Tso Huhn)
This restaurant is amazing! You order at the counter and they come to find you with your food. There are a variety of different types of food. There are sides, sandwiches, bowls, soups and more. I've got the buffalo chicken wings that had wooden skewers in them and made me happy. The claw that came with it was perfect texture and not too strong or too weak of a vinegar taste. The copper burger made with beet was the best BURGER I EVER HAD. I love Alfalfa sprouts so that probably helped. I am not even vegan (yes, and this place gave me new life. 10/10 would recommend!
I didn't even know this place existed and I'm so happy it does. I just had their matcha lime smoothie bowl and it was matcha-licious!!!!! Can't wait to go back and try their other vegan meals. They're super quick too with serving the food which a thumbs up on my book. I just wish it was closer to Pickering. That's the only thing that makes me sad. :
