The place wasn't full but so slow. Waited 10 minutes to order a drink, waited ten minutes to get my wife's drink, mine was delayed for 10 more minutes then she said it was unavailable and offered me two similar choices one of which was the one I ordered. Realizing her mistake she then quickly brought mine and we never heard from her again. Pizza was okay, nice crust but bland topping.
My husband and I ordered takeout from here as we are visiting with our young son and he goes to bed early. We ordered a salad, appetizer and two different pizzas. The Caesar salad was delicious, the dressing was lemony and had just enough garlic. It also came on a wood-fired flatbread which was even better! My husband got the meatball/sausage appetizer which he said was very good. His only gripe was that the sausage had fennel in it which he doesn't like. The pizzas we got were the carne and a pepperoni, both were equally good. They had the perfect ratio of sauce, cheese and meat and nothing overpowered another thing. The sauce was simple but delicious and you could tell they use fresh mozzarella. We will definitely go back!
This restaurant is a short walk away from the village with a menu of deliciousness. The pizza was cooked perfectly the sauce was so good, the salad was so fresh and the pasta was full of flavor and they don't cheap out on ingredients. This restaurant made us feel like we were back in italy. I suggest that everyone who likes real Italian food to come here and eat
Just visited Pizzeria Antico on a recommendation and could not have been more disappointed. The service on a Saturday night was terrible. Waited 20 min for the waitress to take our order, waited 20 for first course. Waited another 20 after that for our dinner to come out only after we had to initiate where in the world it was. The waitress just could not care any less. When the manager Lawrence came over to apologize he actually ended up nickle and dining us on our timing...oh u arrived this time, then your order got put in here, the appies came out at this time. I'm sorry but that is TERRIBLE customer service. Regardless if this guy thinks waiting an hour for dinner is normal or not (it's not) I don't think that kind of attitudes appropriate. Meanwhile we had been sitting there for over an hour and our dinner was just being put down. THEN came the food....first the Margherita pizza we ordered for our kids...that came out with mushrooms???? And she didn't even say anything about it...just dropped it off and left. We called her back and asked if it was mushroom. She said yeah, looks like it. We asked is it supposed to? She's like no...pause....what if our child was allergic to mushrooms. How is this ok? Then, our basic pizza that we ordered with EXTRA cheese...well check out the picture. It was a terribly disgusting looking pizza. Completely unappetizing. And one of the slices they cut had one piece of cheese on it?!!!! So much for paying $3 for for extra cheese. The pasta was salty, the bottoms of the pizzas were soggy...just NO.What a terrible dining experience. Ruined our otherwise awesome family day. Save yourself the time and money and go somewhere else.
