Lots of cakes, chocolate and drinks. There's also a coffee shop. Loads of staff clear the tables to keep it clean. It does get very busy though, even though it can seat hundreds of people, so if the weather is bad and the resort is busy, you can't always get a seat. Staff are very friendly. Washrooms are brilliant and there's also a shop where you can buy ski clothing and accessories. Food is really good quality - great stop.
Easy to get a quick bite, or a satisfying meal. wide range of food, beverage(get the hot Chocolate) and dessert itemsClean restrooms with good dryers/room for gloves (for those who stand) Quiet corners and little areas less crowded, but the show is your feloow skiiers-plus their adventures on the hill
Glacier Creek Lodge is a great meeting point in the centre of Blackcomb mountain accessible from the Glacier Creek express, Solar Coaster and Jersey Cream lifts. There is masses of seating space upstairs (downstairs is usually reserved for kids ski school, a BBQ outdoors on sunny days and limited seating outside upstairs to top up your tan, again on those rare sunny days! Timing can be an issue if you arrive around 12 noon, better to eat a tad before that or after 12.45 when the majority of skiers are on the move again. Good coffee stop too selling banana, lemon/blueberry cake and an array of teas and hot cider. Need to queue for your food at whichever station you choose and you can pay on your edge card if it is linked to your lift pass (useful for teens and kids getting their choices). Always high quality food, yes a bit pricey for us Brits but you are way up the mountain! Need to clean away your trays and stack them for the hosts to deal with but a really smooth operation. Large cups of cold water readily available for so no need to spend extra cash on drinks unless you want beers!
Fine for a quick bite at lunch, a warm up and bathroom stop. Like with all the other mountain restaurants, try going slightly before or after lunch, as all mountain restaurants get VERY crowded. We tended to go at 11.45 ish.The food here is fine- I had a soup and butter biscuits every day.I find it annoying that I have to go down and upstairs in my ski boots to get to the loo.Space problem and so not really their fault.
Can't fault this place. Friendly staff, loads of food options. Yes it's busy at lunchtime so will take a bit longer than outside that time, but everything runs very efficiently. Particularly liked the 'made to order' wraps and the chilli. Best on the mountain
