Fix Cafe - Whistler

Oh, Fix Cafe. I find myself daydreaming about you in the mornings, longing for a tranquil atmosphere, with the most welcoming employees and the most delicious cafe mocha I've ever had.

Can I give 10 stars? My friend and I arrived just before closing time with 6 very hungry, thirsty children. Even though the restaurant was already closed, they graciously accommodated us.

This bakery is a hidden treasure. Whenever I visit Whistler, I make sure to stop by just for their delicious lemon blueberry scones, even if it means driving over from where I am staying.

This resturant has excellent food.The view for the resturant of the lake out the front is excellent.The service was excellent.The wine selection was very good indeed.Creekside is a very quite place to stay from the Disneyland Whislter crazy world.

We sat outside overlooking a small lake. The view is nice, but not as grand as others made it sound. The waitress was terrific at first. We saw another table with bread and asked for some. The cranberry bread was incredible and was brought out with butter and salts. Really impressive. After ordering dinner we asked for more bread. We proceeded to go 30 minutes without our waitress coming back to our table. She finally brought the meal out, and I asked again about bread I ordered 30 minutes ago. Wheat bread was brought out too, which was good, but not as good as the cranberry. Come to find out, you get charged for bread even though it isn't listed on the menu. I've gone on too long about bread. The avocado crab appetizer was the star of the show, but is was very small for $24. The pork chip was the most disappointing main corse I've had a nice restaurant in a long time. Bland, so bland, and tough. They didn't bring me a steak knife to I had to use a butter knife while the table shook. We would have gotten the halibut for two, but it was sold out. Between the hidden bread charge, the waitress forgetting about us for 30 minutes in the middle of the meal, the less than average pork chop, being out of Halibut, and feeling like you are in ever conversation with the tables around you this should be a hard pass for others.
