Located just down the street from the Capitol Theater and across the street from the historic Wheeling Suspension Bridge, this restaurant is in a convenient location. Parking is in a garage next door to the restaurant. Get your garage parking ticket verified at the restaurant, and you'll park for free! The restaurant itself has both a bar and restaurant section but is definitely family friendly. The menu had all types of sandwiches, soups and salads. I ordered the fried bologna sandwich with a side of tater tots. Lots of bologna and tots. Both were delicious. Prices are very reasonable, the restaurant has a welcoming atmosphere, and the service was prompt and friendly! The Bridge ticked all the boxes for me!
We celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary at The Terminal (June 4, 2022) and could not be more thrilled with the layout, the food and the service. It was so easy because they did virtually everything: covered tables and chairs, buffet foods, non alcoholic drinks, bartender service both in room and in restaurant even putting out a standing placard to direct the guest to the entrance of the party. The food was incredible, the room was elegant and the servers/bartenders were friendly and helpful. Everything was effortless for us, allowing us to just enjoy the evening. We found it incredibly affordable and, best of all, it was a local business so we felt there was a passion to provide great service!
Affordable menu offering standard American food. Only a few beers. Relaxed vibes with good wait staff and food didn't take long to come out after ordering. Street parking available. Clean restroom. Would come back.
Stopped in for a quick pint after exploring downtown on a Friday afternoon on my way home from Kentucky to Philly for an overnight at the local McClure Hotel. Soon realized that this was the place to be in downtown Wheeling as the bartender (Joey) and owner (Mike) warmly welcomed me and introduced me the the regulars at the bar-restaurant. Although I didn't dine on this occasion it was obvious the patrons were very satisfied with their entrees and appetizers. I very much look forward to visiting soon and enjoying a beverage and dinner with Joey and Mike!
Randomly found this place on Google while passing through town, and I'm so glad we stopped. It's this cute little tavern with retro almost art deco decorations. Their menu was typical for your standard American restaurant apps, sandwiches, burgers, salads, etc. Our server was very friendly, and our food came out so fast. The BLT was massive! I couldn't even finish it. They did have very limited beer selections like 4 drafts, and only 1 was a craft. Either way, I'd still stop back in if I was in the area.
