The Seafood Platter for one, was excellent and value for money. Being Xmas it was packed and could have done with more staff.
Place was loud, or as the people who sent us a survey describe it energetic which suggests something you would want to be part of whereas it was LOUD and CROWDED.. If this is energetic, give me lethargic. Overall the place is like a barn. Hopeless trying to find a parking spot in a carpark second only to Chadstone on Christmas Eve.. Booked ahead and got three reminders and prompts to look at menu etc and asked if we were excited about going. as if we we were going to visit Santa instead of going to eat at a barn of a place. Also got a survey form after we had visited so the in box is full of unwanted stuff from this venue. Oh and queue to order food.
Love it one of my favourite places. Great meals, great atmosphere, lovely service
It was lovely of the hostess to show us into the heritage room as there was a band on. We’d have left if we had to listen to that. Noisy other table in heritage room but that’s not your fault. I wouldn’t go in future if there’s a band on. Really enjoyed it tho
