The T Shop - Weymouth and Portland

My husband and I visited this charming restaurant today for brunch. The location was ideal, right next to the harbor, and we enjoyed our meal outside in the beautiful weather. My tea was served in a delicate china cup with a small teapot, and the homemade cherry bakewell cake I had was absolutely delicious - possibly the best cake I've ever tasted. I highly recommend stopping by this place.

I stopped by for a cup of tea and a cheese scone, but was disappointed to find that it tasted sweet as if they had used a regular scone recipe and swapped out the fruit for cheese.

Amazing little tea shop, I couldn't recommend this place enough. The cream tea was gorgeous and the staff extremely friendly.

Every time I come back to Weymouth every two three months I just have to call in for a Dorset cream tea. As cream teas go this is the best one in the country and I travel around England all the time. The scones are delicious, served with proper, thick, tasty clotted cream and not that horrid thin watery stuff. Staff are friendly and always make every feel welcome. Can’t wait to come back in July.
