There haven't been any recent reviews of this takeout spot, so here's our opinion as a holidaymaker staying nearby. The portions are generous and the dishes are flavorful. It seems like the food is freshly made. They only accept cash and it's recommended to spend under £25.

I ordered barbecued spare ribs and chips for takeaway and was skeptical when told it would be ready in 10 minutes. Unfortunately, the ribs were bland, tough, and chewy, likely reheated from the day before. The barbecue sauce was watery and the chips were not freshly fried. Overall, another disappointing experience at a Portland restaurant. I doubt I will be returning in the future. When will they improve their quality?

I have ordered takeout from this restaurant a few times. The meal I got on Saturday night was extremely overcooked. I should have returned it.
