San Marcos Mexican - WETUMPKA

Customer service excellent, great selection of bar drinks.Their very basic Mexican plates like chile rellenos and flautas are nowhere near authentic or favorable. When it comes to desserts, churros, ice cream, and whip cream were excellent.I've sampled meals all over Mexico, USA, and Texas primarily TexMex . This restaurant doesn't cut it.

We went with a big group. They were accommodating, had good food and pretty good service. I'll be back.

The ATMOSPHERE there AWESOME, and the owner is AWESOME TO, HE WILL DO THINGS THAT OTHER OWNERS will NOT DO!!! Vegetarian options: Yes they have it!!! Dietary restrictions: I not on this, but you tell them what to make and they will try to ACCOMMODATE you!!! Parking: It's in small strip mall area!!! Kid-friendliness: The owner PLAYS WITH my NEPHEW'S and so does SOME OF WAITRESS!! Wheelchair accessibility: Yes

Something has definitely changed here. Smaller portions, sub par snail like service, automatically adding gratuity of 20% WITHOUT communicating that it would be added(imagine 7/10 families dont notice this fine detail...and tip ANOTHER 20% on a $50 check-unknown added gratuity $10...plus added tip of another $10 by the one who signs the credit slip..its wrong and crooked to leave guests in the dark, and a very dishonest practice, especially for slow service that).......it's disappointing that this once HIT has taken a fall from grace; however, fortunate that the option for Mexican is about every quarter mile down the road each way. Get back to your old self San Marcos...this look just isn't good for you.
