Here on the way to yorkshire holiday home. a large family celebration. we have pre-ordered and were immediately greeted and set. service was prompt and the meals were plentiful and tasty. Thank you.

The steak and ale pie is excellent! We were here a few months ago on business and were nearby for a family event, so returned. Just as good second time around.

The ambiance was lovely, featuring a beautiful log fire, and the food was both delicious and plentiful. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I was pleasantly surprised to find that non-alcoholic drinks, like lime and soda with a dash of cordial, were only 25p. It's quite frustrating when you go to other pubs and are charged £1 for water; it’s nice to see a place that values customer experience! I will definitely be returning.

I can’t say enough good things about this pub! I called from Cumbria to make a reservation, and I was greeted by a young man who was very welcoming. Both he and the young lady were incredibly pleasant and dedicated to their work. The atmosphere was fantastic! The steak and ale pie was the best I’ve ever had—hats off to the chef! The service was outstanding, and it felt wonderful to visit a place where you truly feel welcome. Thank you for an excellent experience!

The restaurant is situated in a fantastic location with ample parking and a lovely outdoor area. The menu offers a variety of options, and the food was delicious. However, I would rate it one star lower due to the lengthy wait time between ordering and receiving our food, especially since the restaurant wasn't busy at the time.
