Very happy with our brunch. They let us make some minor modifications with no extra charge, the server did not try to up sell when we asked for her opinion of what to order and the cappuccinos were great. Server seemed a little shaky and had informed us of the large amounts of energy drinks she had consumed so that was a little odd but we will certainly be returning to try more items on the menu
I've only ever been there for Wing Wednesday so the wings and beer are all I really know about. The wings are very good, possibly even great. There's more to a restaurant than just the food, though.I've sat on the lounge side and also on the floor side.Maybe 3 times each.I have not sat in absolutely every single spot but suspect there is not a comfortable seat in the house. All of the seating I tried is thin (poorly padded) and too flat and upright. Not a relaxing experience. The lounge side can be pretty cramped during the early supper rush. The aisles are narrow, the tables are narrow and you are sometimes shoulder to shoulder with patrons. The floor side is much better in that regard. The selection of draft beer is pretty limited and it is barely chilled.I'm not from the old world.I like my beer cold.Beer should be chilled to no warmer than 5C and preferably 2C or 3C.Their beer is chilled to about 10C or 11C.No pun intended but that is not cool. The wait staff are mostly good. One girl can sometimes be snarky but the others seem to be cheerful and helpful. The speed of the kitchen is pretty good. Not fast but also not slow.
This is one of our go-to restaurants in Wetaskiwin. We love the renovations done, except the bathrooms still need a lot of work. The food is great and service is good. Its very similar to an Original Joes in the sense you choose your 2 side dishes to accompany your meal. Prices are reasonable for Wetaskiwin avergaing aorund $12-15 for a main dish. Highly recommend the fries (or poutine), tomato soup, house salad, and jerk chicken wrap.
Stopped by with the family for a quick bite to eat while visiting Wetaskiwin. We were greeted and seated in a manner of minutes and presented with menus and drink orders with filled quickly The young lady who served us was very pleasant and professional to deal with and was very quick to re-fill drinks and check to see that everything was ok. The only downfall We saw was in the outside dinning area the glass roof was extremely dirty it would have been nicer if it was cleaned so the sun could shine through better. The food was very good and we will return next time we are in town
