Dunville's - Westport

This bar is one of my all time fav places for many years atmosphere is great food wonderful

My first post-pandemic, solo trip out for a drink was to Dunville's. The bartender. Glenn made me feel welcome and mixed an excellent Manhattan. In no time at all, he and the other customers at the bar and I exchanging memories of old time Westport. The burger and fries I ordered were outstanding. The burger was perfectly cooked and flavorful and the fries were as crisp as I like them. Glenn was fun and engaging...a real improvement over the places I've been where a single woman is often treated as though invisible. If you're looking for good food and a welcoming place to have a cocktail, I can' t think of a better place than Dunville's, especially when Glen is working the bar.

The ambiance alone is magnificent. The Cobb salad to die for. Great stopping for lunch place. I imagine the night life swings.

Great food in a classic 'old Westport ' place. Love it

Best lil bar in Connecticut. In a Nice Town. Great food and good people. Of course the cocktails are stellar.
