Przekaż informację zwrotnąThis place has fresh tasty banh mi for a reasonable price. We also tried her vegetarian and chicken egg rolls, and Pate Gebäck. All were very tasty, especially roasted. I'll be there next week to try their spring rolls.
The hotel is located in a small square on the corner of Magnolia and Bolsa Ave. Parking is a pain. Lol. You're lucky if you find one. In the shop looks modern and clean. I ordered 2 types of sandwiches: a grilled beef, a grilled chicken and a few Pate Chaud (Puffy pastry pig and chicken). Loves his grilled beef sandwich, very tasty. The aroma and taste of lemongrass is only heavenly good. Baguette was crispy. Beef became tender and juicy. While I like the beef sandwich, but not so much on chicken sandwich. Although it was tender and juicy, but no taste compared to beef. I'll skip the next time. All trimmings such as slices Gurke, carrot and daikon Pickles, slices Jalapeños and Cilantro were fresh. Father Chaud was good. Very delicious on chicken and pig. Service was friendly.
My go-to banh mi spot! I drive 15 miles to go here and it is worth every mile. The way they make their sandwiches reminds me of the kind I grew up with. I don’t eat pork so the beef and sardine are my favorite sandwiches. I recommend getting the fried egg on the beef banh mi. The bread is made in house, is crispy and soft at the same time. I especially love how clean the place is and how they prepare the sandwiches. They don’t mix utensils and always change gloves each time. The people are also friendly. I can’t recommend this place enough.
I've tried other Banh mi places, but always come back to Top Baguette. The bread is crispy and they're generous with the meat and the prices are reasonable. My faves are the beef with lemon grass and the bbq pork. I'm not a vegetarian but I have a friend who is and I was surprised to discover that the vegetarian sandwich is just as delicious as the meat ones! And they make fabulous smoothies. Their mocha smoothie beats anything starbucks puts out!!. The avocado smoothie is also excellent. The problem with this place is that most people barely speak English. This isn't a problem when you are there and can point to what you want on the menu. However, I usually call in my order and it is *agony* until I get the gentleman who speaks English.
