Pam's Place - Westminster

The food and service are excellent! This is our favorite breakfast spot!

We enjoy exploring various breakfast spots. So far, we've tried four different places, and my two favorites are Pam's Place and Onkel Pete's Café!

The food arrived quickly, but I was disappointed as soon as I saw my dish. The "ranchero sauce" looked like someone had simply dumped store-bought picante sauce onto my plate. Then I realized that Pam never asked how I wanted my eggs cooked, so they arrived as they were. I don't eat runny eggs, so I was waiting for someone to come by and check on our meal. My mother-in-law cut into her dish, and her eggs were overcooked. We could have swapped eggs! Unfortunately, no one came by to refill our coffee or water, nor did they check on us during our meal. I ended up eating just the tortillas with potatoes and the little roasted beans they served. We didn't see another server until it was time for the bill. I was hoping Pam would be more cheerful, friendly, and engaging since she was serving customers, but her indifferent attitude was quite disappointing. I now know what not to order during my next visit, but I do hope she finds some joy in her work.

Pams 1 star on the basis of our unfortunate experience with the employees. I don't know. about eating as my friend and I were ignored for half an hour before we meet the road. I'm a cafe owner and totally unnoticed, is totally unacceptable. let me also say that eye contact with the employees has been made several times. beautiful birthday

My mother in law was in town and wanted to go somewhere for breakfast before hitting the road again. She mentioned wanting eggs Benedict so I thought of a few places that were local and decided on Pam's since it was close and I had been here several times before. We arrived before the Sunday breakfast rush and seated ourselves on the outside patio. We were immediately brought menus and silverware. A server came and took our drink orders rather quickly and brought our drinks. After a few minutes looking over the menu, Pam came to take our order. I asked between 2 items, which one she would choose. She gave me a kind of dumb look and then responded with they were both good. Ok. I went with the Huevos rancheros and MIL got traditional eggs bennedict. The food came out quick and I took one look and was disappointed. The ranchero sauce looked like someone dump pace picante sauce on my plate. Then I realized she never asked how I wanted my eggs so they came over easy. I don't eat runny eggs so I waited for someone to come ask if everything was ok. My mother in law cut into her meal and the poached eggs were over cooked. We should have swapped eggs! Well, nobody ever came to refill our coffee, water or ask how our meal was so I just ate the tortillas with potatoes and the little refried beans I was given. We never saw another server until they brought to bill. I would think Pam would be more cheery, friendly and outgoing if she was serving people but her careless attitude was rather disappointing. I know what NOT to order next time but I sure hope she finds some happiness in her business.
