I don't really know what the difference between the two bánh cu valn dishes is tho. The noodle dish is also good. Ask here vnese coffee.
This restaurant is called Banh Cuon Tay Ho 4 on Google map and it is called Banh Cuon Tay Ho on yelp. There is also another named Banh Cuon Tay Ho 2 on both services. They sell the same food and the same good quality, but I like this 2 as 4. The 4 has more fashion renovation, looks like a modern restaurant. But the two have more ethnic feelings. Compare the menus I take photos of both restaurants, it looks that the 4 is a little more expensive-0.25 dollars for each dish. Once I'm in little Saigon, this restaurant is always an option for me as well as Hui Oi and Brodard. I like the rolled cake, especially wrapped with tropical leaves and mixed with the sweet chilli fish sauce. The rolled cake is so soft and the taste is so good. The fried shrimp empura with yam is also good, but don't order the whole dish as it is already included in the rolled cake set. The whole plate will bite too much. I gave both 2 and 4 for 4 stars or 85 in 100.
The portions have become smaller for years, before the Kovid, but still the best banh cuon around bolsa area
They have 3 vegan chay options that are just as delicious as their special. I have the chay special, that comes with choppy filling, roast tofu, mung bean cake and her specialty the crispy sweet potato tempura! Vegans and vegetarians get their own alternative sauce instead of fish sauce, which is very tasty and is full of Umami also. At $11 for a full dish, it is a great place to eat with vegan and not vegan together.
My Wife aske me to come back to give it another try and we did it, this time the waiters were more helpful and friendlier, food are better too, so I would change the rating to 4 stars.
