Longhorn Steakhouse - Westland

We love longhorn and probably eat there 3 times a week.

The steak was excellent. The ribs were lacking, but it's a steak house, not a rib joint. Our waitress and waiter were both eager to serve us. This was my parents 60th wedding anniversary party.

Had a family dinner here 13 people. The service was good, everybody enjoyed their meals. The Shrimp and Lobster chowder was delicious, and the Grilled chicken and Strawberry salad was really good. The salmon with field greens was a large salad and also really good. Salads can be tricky this time of year, but these had fresh lettuce and the dressings are all made in house. Flo s Filet is my Mom's favorite and it did not disappoint, cooked just the way she likes it(med.rare).

My steak was not tender or seasoned good. It was cooked to my liking as far as temp. We had to send it back and get new ones. The second one was better than the first but not the greatest.

Honestly really enjoyed my experience here. The Filet was so good, as well as the bread, and the appetizer. The margarita was ok, but I'd drink it again. Will be back!
