I have wanted to try this spot for some time and tonight gave ample opportunity. I made reservations over the phone before I came. When I arrived I had to circle to find a parking spot. So many people were out. When I got to the restaurant VJ, our server, sat us and was attentive, funny and nice. The spot was byob and we chose to sit outside. For appetizers we ordered calamari and hummus and pita. The hummus and pita was good. I didn't partake in the calamari but my friend enjoyed it.It was time to order dinner and I went with the falafel wrap and my friend had the salmon. The prices aren't bad at all at the restaurant. My meal was only $11. I enjoyed my meal and the salmon looked good even though I didn't taste it. The experience all in all was pretty good.
@Maxine F: Lavash is so good. It tastes like the food at Lavash. You should try to go to Lavash again because Lavash is actually really good. Babaganoush, Baklava, Lamb Boti.
Really want to write a great review but can't . Food was just ok falafel , chicken sandwiches were lame , sparse . Pita bread was dense , did not seem fresh , and hummus was too thick . Also , they refuse to serve tap water, we had to buy bottled water or soda . The worst part was that the outside environment was sad . There was absolutely no effort to make it seem inviting just tables under a soccer style tent , on a hot street . I'm from Westfield and want this place to be good, but will go to a different middle eastern restaurant next time.
Disappointing and not remotely authentic. Taste is terrible for the basics.
