Viljoensdrift - Western Cape

If you are in the Robertson area, the river cruise at Viljoensdrift is a mandatory stop. I would recommend their Sauvignon Blanc and the fresh Ciabatta bread.

Brilliant spot to taste wine right next to the Breede River. Or take a river cruise. Tasty snacks and light menu available. So relaxed.

This was absolutely lovely. Beautiful picnic basket, lovely gifts and very friendly and helpful staff.

Very nice lunch with wine tasting. Well organized and friendly service. Don't hesitate to pick this up during your trip!

If you are looking for something different to your std wine tasting Viljoen’s Drift offers a very enjoyable river cruise. We stocked up at their deli (mostly cheese platter type snacks. You can order from their restaurant but you need to place orders an hour or so before so plan accordingly) and hopped aboard. The kids absolutely loved the surprise kiddies boxes which I felt were good value for money.
