La Pentola - Western Cape

We got lucky and got a seat without a reservation (lunch on a weekday) and it was worth it! Possibly one of the only restaurants that could get me to deliberately order lamb kidneys. Fantastic service, too! La Pentola is sustainability-based and seasonal, and accommodates veggies and omnivores alike easily.

Great food (I had a super tasty pasta and my friend an excellent steak), top service and a beautiful view! <3

I enjoyed my lunch. Having arrived quite late after lunch we were grateful to find somewhere out of the wind. Our waitress was attentive and the food arrived quickly. I enjoyed the fish of the day which was cob with no bones. A simple meal, tasty and the portion size suited where we were in the afternoon. View out of the windows is beautiful. Pity we missed the show the whales put on a few days previously.

Mussels, prawns and hake all top, top notch. Fresh as hell.

Delicious, interesting tastes. Service was excellent and welcoming. There were quite a few tourists and a very racially diverse crowd. Service was great throughout. Really appreciated the attentive, respectful and friendly service. Will come again.
