The View, Westbury

Food was good good value for money. Very nice scenery. Staff very polite.

We went for Sunday lunch which was served swiftly but the food could have been much hotter as it was only luke warm. The beef and pork were delicious but we weren’t too sure about the potatoes being “roasted” ones. The Eaton Mess had more cream than meringue so it was a little disappointing.

We arrived at opening time and staff were welcoming and helpful. Ordered food and it was nice. Food came and was very tasty. Pizzas were fresh and cooked really well. By the time we finished our meal, football was on both large tvs and bar/tables was filled with young lads shouting and we couldn't hear ourselves talk so left as soon as we had eaten. Such a shame there is no where people can eat inside if they want to have a quiet evening with friends or family.

Only had nachos and dirty fries so hard to judge food, however there was a bit too much runny cheese sauce-due to this the chips and nachos were a bit soft. The atmosphere and service was amazing
