Tasty House - Westbury

The new owner is lovely, and her food is delicious even though a little bit different. Unfortunately the menu has been changed, so many of the dishes we used to order there are no longer offered. But all of the noodle soups are still available. So important to support little shop owners. Definitely worth a visit.

We really liked this place when a couple bought it a few years ago. Recently they sold it. The new owner actually makes the Pho MORE flavorful. She doesn't have a rewards program but that's okay I'd much rather have great food every time than mediocre and something free. I think it's a great trade off.

Good for take out or dine in, although it is a small dining area with just a few tables. I wanted to love the pho but it just didn't hit for me. I would give it a 3/5. In my opinion, their rice dishes are the best! I loved the BBQ beef on rice. Easily a 4.5/5 :

Back again with an updated review! Still a 5/5! The restaurant is under new ownership and the new owner is just as lovely as the previous. No grandiose changes or complete overhaul like you would normally see with new owners. Which a simple gal like me loves, especially when you find such a gem. The food is still amazing and the Pho Thai is still delish!! The scallion pancakes are thin and crispy with the perfect scallion flavor. I have even brought friends and family who have made it their go-to pho spot as well. If you're ever in the area, especially as we head into the colder months, definitely put Tasty House on your list of places to try!

Worse food ever! What a complete disappointment. This place should be renamed to NOT Tasty House. I’m all for supporting mom-n-pop establishments but some people should not be in business. The food is insufferable. We had grilled pork over vermicelli, Pho Thai and Beef curry. The grilled pork was cardboard with some sauce on top. The Pho broth was meh. And the beef in the curry was tough. This place is in a shopping strip. The hospital lights inside the restaurant and disposable plastic cups from Costco is a real vibe killer. This hole in the wall place does not deserve the 4.8 rating. 4.8 is a REAL misrepresentation.
