Majestic Diner - Westbury

I have come to this evening since 2000 and they have never disappointed me! their dishes are made with quality and carefree. I started to go here when I was just politicized, now I am in the rest and still going? make sure to ask the pancakes, waffeln and huhn, and their sandwiches are the biggest! 5 stars not enough

We've been going here for years. Food was always good. But wow did the service go down hill. Waiter disappeared on us for a long time, then when the food came out, it was slightly incorrect....and cold. Then we didn't see him again. Usually waiter's come back to see how you're doing if we need ketchup, napkins....etc.. we were asking other waiters that passed by but they just gave dirty looks. I guess we didn't belong to them. Then we asked the bus boy for more coffee and he came back within seconds. LOL. I should've left him the tip. A burger and an egg sandwich $35. Not worth the crappy service. What a shame.

I opted for a dinner blackboard special tonight. Service was quick and efficient. Manhattan clam chowder to start off the meal was good. Lamb chops seemed more roasted than broiled, but still tasty. And the server-suggested carrot cake blew away my preconceived notions about it (probably one of the few times I enjoyed carrot cake).

I have been eating at this diner for many years and the owners previous diner since I was a little boy. The food has always been nothing but stellar and we'll always stop in, when in town for some delicious food and warm friendly faces.

3 egg sandwiches and a side of home fries $30 wtf? Never again. Overpriced and the sandwiches were not that great. No wonder they have such bad reviews.
