Pancho Willie's Peppermill

This is a typical casino hotel with its outrageous carpeting and mirrored rooms that have poor lighting. The fact that I get free rooms here makes it manageable. The pillows and mattress are comfortable, but they only provide a sheet for sleeping! No matter how hot it is outside, I always need a blanket! The casino is enjoyable because they offer the table games I like, unlike Montego Bay, though I still prefer that property over any of the casino hotels in Wendover. As for the Rainbow, it usually features live music, creating a fun atmosphere. The drinks are delicious and served frequently if you're at a table, but that isn’t the case for the slot area. There's plenty of parking available and the staff is friendly.

The exterior of this place boasts the brightest and most illuminated parking lot in the area. While other establishments may skimp on the lighting, the Rainbow more than compensates for it. Inside, the atmosphere remains vibrant and lively, radiating a cheerful energy. My friend and I spent some time at the craps table, where we found most of the dealers to be friendly and full of energy, actively engaging with the guests. While a few were not as interactive, the overall experience was definitely enjoyable.

Our room was very clean and appeared to be recently updated. The mini fridge could have been colder, but it functioned adequately. The hallway was extremely quiet, and we couldn't hear any noise from neighboring rooms. We went to the pool before it closed at 9 PM (mountain time), so we had about an hour to swim. A heads-up: it is incredibly hot and humid in there with no ventilation. I overheard another guest mentioning they felt dizzy from the combination of the hot tub and humid environment. A significant downside was that the maintenance staff left their storage closet open, which was quite unsightly and had an unpleasant smell. Additionally, the pool restrooms were not well-maintained; the toilets had stains and the women’s restroom had a toilet that was disassembled and didn’t flush properly. It was just not a pleasant sight. We didn't come to gamble or dine, so aside from those issues, I can't really complain about the comfort and quietness of the room. Overall, it was just okay!

The steak was excellent and cooked to perfection. The price included a salad, vegetables, and potatoes, prepared to your liking, which I found to be very reasonable. The service was quick and friendly. I highly recommend this place.

The food and service were excellent. The only downside was that it mentioned a kids' menu, but there wasn't one available.
