Oceano Buffet - West Wendover

Usually always had a good experience. I was seated by an employee named Susana. I usually like to sit to the left of the restaurant and she wanted to seat me to the right. She said something about two girls working over there. I said I can wait until you seat others to the right and then I can seat to the left. She look so upset and didn’t say anything and seated me to the left. I said thank you when she got my table and she made a mean face and didn’t say anything and left. Throughout the time I sat there she still seated people where I was. I never dealt with a bad attitude from the staff. Disappointed it happened.

In general, you can't expect superb food in the buffet restaurants. So there is no surprise that the food here was just OK. We love the buffets for the wide range of different dishes. Unfortunately there is about 1/4 of the counters that empty. However the service and vibd are good, the prices are fare overall.

Ugh! Don't waste your time and moreover your money! We ate dinner there last night. The peel and eat shrimp isn't devained, the prime rib was dry and tough. Breakfast is especially bad. How do you screw up Breakfast? The ham was so dry you couldn't eat it. I've never had bad eggs until this morning. They cater to their large Hispanic crowd which normally I would be excited about. However, the enchiladas tasted old. Breakfast was $30 ea. Dinner was $40 ea. Trust me, eat at their diner.

I love the atmosphere and ambiance of this buffet. They serve all kinds of food. We go to this buffet every time we visit Wendover. It’s better on the weekends because of all the seafood. They serve almost every kind of food. We have always enjoyed it here.
