Fairways Grill - West Virginia

A little pricey but food is pretty good and they have a great menu.

Great service, food and atmosphere! The owners are great people, very welcoming and personally came to over to our table to ask how everything was. I definitely recommend trying the deep fried goat cheese and cajun chicken pasta!

I will never return to Fairways- the owner was very rude and loud while my friend and I tried to have dinner. He clearly is only interested in the large groups of tables with people he knows sitting there. The servers don’t acknowledge you until you get up and ask for something- it’s a disaster.

We stopped by Fairways Bar Grill in Teays Valley around 3pm Saturday and the place was dead. When we arrived there wasn’t a soul in sight and we waited for several minutes before the someone appeared from the back. There was only 1 person tending the bar and the dining room. We were the only customers until the end of our meal when we asked for to-go containers. Our waitress was nice, but service was super slow despite being the only ones there. Read the positive reviews so we decided to give it a try and were quite disappointed. Took at least 45 min for our burgers and then they were overcooked and the fries were barely warm along with putting a topping on the burger that my boyfriend requested they leave off. Waitress was ok — friendly but never gave us updates on the food or apologized for how long it took although she did apologize that my boyfriend's order wasn't correct. Don't plan on returning.
