Przekaż informację zwrotnąNeon sign outside advertised Organic Cappuccino which enticed me in to this small local cafe. The flat white coffees were piping hot and decently priced. There was also not the long queue that Starbucks had down the road. We have always tried to drink at local independent businesses rather than franchise outlets, and the Seaside Village Cafe was a typical example of why we do. The staff greeted us with as much enthusiasm as one of their local regulars who walked in shortly after we arrived. When someone walked in and said they were in a rush for the ferry but wanted something tasty to eat the staff member was able to quickly determine what they liked suggested several items to meet that need ignoring more expensive items on their menu. Because we were not in a rush we were able to enjoy our coffee without feeling pressured to vacate the seats for someone else, but encouraged to sit awhile and natter. The staff local customer also were able to offer excellent tourist information for our continued journey northwards. Next time we are in the area we will plan to have something to eat too as the food we saw going out looked really good.
While waiting for our ferry at Horseshoe Bay terminal, we decided to explore the village in search of a place to grab a coffee and breakfast sandwich. After passing by the crowded Starbucks and other establishments, we stumbled upon the Seaside Village cafe just off the main street. The service was excellent and they offered a fantastic variety of drinks and sandwiches, including a $10 breakfast sandwich. While it may seem pricey, it was definitely worth it. Made with fresh ingredients like eggs, ham, cheese, lettuce, and tomatoes, we found that one sandwich was enough for two people to share. Avoid the long lines and head to this cafe for delicious, freshly made sandwiches and a fantastic cup of coffee.
This charming casual coffee shop welcomes everyone with a friendly atmosphere. I've savored numerous coffees, homemade juices, tuna melts, and delicious baked goods at this cozy spot. I appreciate the break from the standard chain coffee shops and it feels good to support a local business.
If you're looking for an alternative to the usual coffee chains, this is the place to go. It's a lovely spot to start your day, sitting at the counter and watching the quiet early morning traffic in West Vancouver. The coffee was excellent and the sandwiches were delicious. Highly recommended!
N49°22'26 W123°16'28 the organic movement will fail if it keeps prices too high. People will pay more for organic food, but not much more. For us in August 2015, the Seaside Village Café felt into this category with good but expensive organic food. The sandwiches with tomato and hummus were nice. Juice and coffee too, but all expensive.
