McDonald's - West Vancouver

If you prefer cleanliness, good service, and a pleasant atmosphere, this is not the place for you. The floor was covered in spilled pop, there was a homeless person sleeping, and children were running around barefoot and screaming. The floors were so sticky that my shoes stuck to the ground. I approached a woman in casual attire who appeared to be a worker and asked when she worked there as she held a broom. She seemed shocked and could barely speak English. She nodded her head in confirmation and asked if there was a mop available. This place is unclean and I believe health inspectors should pay a visit!

I'm just visiting this pathetic excuse for a fast food establishment 2 3 times a year, as my children ask to go. See my previous post of the completely burned bagel. This time they forgot several articles in my order and when I came back to ask them to compete for the order, they asked what order it was in a completely empty restaurant! 9 McDonald's staff looked like they saw a ghost. Dumb Dumber never again!

I'd rather starve than eat at McDonald's. If you'd skip a good meal, then this place is for you. I'd avoid it.

I come here for my morning coffee and it's always quick and friendly service. Even at 530 am. Coffee is delicious. Hotcakes are my favorite :

Yesterday evening I was too tired to prepare lunch for today. So, today I went to McDonalds at Marine Drive and Manitoba Street. It was quite busy there, but I was able to order relative fast. When I asked the service person behind the counter to tell me the difference between a Mighty Angus and an Angus Classic with cheese and bacon she was not able to give me a correct answer. She told me that the Angus Classic with cheese and bacon has, as the name said, bacon and chees. But on their display a Mighty Angus was shown also with cheese… Only a colleague of her was able to explain to me the real difference. I ordered a Mighty Angus since it contained also bacon (just as bits and not as stripes as the Angus Classic) and fried onions. Additionally, I ordered a Vanilla Shake. And in contrast to other branches, that burger looked pretty delicious and the taste was good too. The vanilla milkshake was ok too; not was watery as I experienced it previously. I really consider going there occasionally again.
