Bay Sushi - West Vancouver

The ferry was very late and my wife wanted sushi so I went hunting. What a magnificent surprise the best quality sushi I have had in years. We ordered Roll combo B and C with unagi on the side for a take out. Quality was fantastic especially the raw tuna and salmon. We are looking forward to eating in for the whole experience.

Ordered rolls and sashimi. Fish were great, anything with rice was fairly bad because the rice was undercooked. It was like biting to small rocks on every chew. If the rice was cooked and had a bit for vinegar, it would have been okay.

When I entered the restaurant, the server seemed to make assumptions about me based on my race. She asked typical questions about my experience with sushi and tried to rush me to pay while I was still looking at the menu for more options. The sushi was dry and mediocre, but I finished my meal. I paid and left a tip, but overheard another customer mocking the restaurant's quality. The prices were low, but so was the quality of the sushi. Overall, the restaurant needs to improve their food and service. I'm unsure if I would return in the future.

Don't let the comic-sans signage dissuade you, this place makes some great sushi.

Very bad customer service and they was yelling at the customers I don’t recommend it to everyone specially the kids because you gonna see a Karen and her husband at the restaurant be careful from this restaurant ?????
