The place is busy with the locals and travellers. Especially, on a sunny spring day. The view is awesome. I was there on a Saturday. Saw lots of ferry travellers and bikers coming in for drinks and snacks. I enjoy the plain dark coffee. Also tried the quinoa wrap, and it was quite good. The menu is the same as in the other Starbucks. Seating inside is quite limited for the traffic passing through the store, at least when I was there. There were a few chairs on the front patio. Service was reasonable.
Declined me my free birthday drink even with proof of ID.
I ordered a tall dark roast w/ 1honey and a shot of cream. The workers were all very lovely. My coffee was less so. All the honey was in the bottom of the cup. : my drink was dark and bitter.
The atmosphere and service in the store are very good, and the coffee is delicious.
