Friends of ours have been here before and raved about the food so of us decided then included decided to go and try their BBQ’d ribs This is a very casual cozy spot so don’t dress up just get ready to...eat with your hands Ribs and riblets were great We had many sides as well fries, onion rings , beet salad, cole slaw etc that we’re very good If you want real BBQ and your in the area give it a shot Call for a reservation because the place is small Try not to be seated upstairs it’s tight and loud up there

Atmosphere was very nice. Not the usual loud restaurant with TV's all around. They use a heavy smoke crust on their ribs and pork. The Riblets appetizer was little chewy. Similar to jerky but very tasty. The Brisket was one of the best I've had;...very tender and not fatty. Sauce very good. Sweet Potato Lattice fries were nice and crispy. Really enjoyed our dinner. Price was on the higher end for BBQ but this place is a little more upscale than most BBQ joints.

Hardly any meat on the rack of ribs Mac Cheese was pitifully small for the cost,left hungry server did not care about the comments. For BBQ I've never seen it take so long for the food to come out.

We decided to take a chance to try out Smoque bones after reading some of the reviews. The exterior is rustic , but don't be put off. It was really busy inside. We hadn't made a reservation but we were promptly allocated a table....The people next to us had been in a while when their order appeared I knew we'd made the right choice. We ordered the rib tips, pulled pork brisket with a portion of the sweet potato waffle fries. EVERYTHING was delicious. The variety of sauces, textures and tastes were lovely. It was very good service, considering how busy it was. Good value and polite helpful waitresses made this a great night out. It was so good we had to go back and try the chicken with sauces and sides. This was some of the best smokehouse food I've tasted, and is without doubt a contender for the You must eat here programme Don't miss out this gem of a smokehouse. We loved it.

Since we live right up the street and love smokehouse food, we have visited this place time and time again. Food has been a hit or miss, would recommend the sweet potato waffle fires, buttermilk onion rings, the peppercorn beef sandwich Mac n Cheese,...however found the shareable dishes very poor and would not suit one person for a main. Main reason for the low score is the seating arrangements. I had family over from home and had reserved a low seating table for people. When we arrived we were seated at a high table (no problem, at least we had our own table), received our drinks, ordered, and then were asked to move to the bar since they had overbooked the area. We asked could we be moved upstairs, and were told no, they were completely booked out. We had to move to the bar and sit side by side (note this is the second time this has happened to us with a reservation). We found this extremely awkward and to be completely honest just wanted to leave. I also wanted to add that although three others sat at our original table, there were two free tables for the entire time we were eating our food. I was so so disappointed with how this was handled and don't see the point in reserving tables/special requests if your just going to get seated at the bar each time (as I said time i've been here its happened). Ok for people, but for three or more, find somewhere else thats not as difficult to move around in and where you can actually have a conversation without having to stare straight into the cooking area.
