River City Grill - West Sacramento

I landed in the west of Sacramento with a co-worker and was looking for a burger at 0900 hours. This place looks like a dark basketball theme bar, but not frightened by the first impression, their burgers are delicious. It took them a long time to prepare (fresh hopefully) and they are juicy and tasteful. About 6 to 9 dollars, no fryers. Next time I'm in the area.

On August 30, 2017, my first impression of River City Grill was mixed. On one hand, the name sounded appetizing, and on the other, I was pleased to find that they opened at 7 o'clock. After checking out reviews and photos, I decided to order a cheesesteak sandwich with all the toppings, along with some crispy fries that were fresh from the fryer. The cheesesteak was absolutely delicious, loaded with tender meat, paprika, mushrooms, onions, and cheese. The menu offers a variety of other options as well. The dining area is lovely, and you can watch the cooks in action since the grill is visible.

The philly cheesesteaks are awesome! Their fries were great, too. I am definitely planning on coming back soon.

This is a fantastic family-run restaurant. The owners are personable, attentive, and dedicated to their work. While the menu features American cuisine with an Asian twist, it leans more towards traditional American dishes. The interior is inviting, adorned with a bar and a sports theme—bonus points for being a big Kings fan! The atmosphere is very comfortable. Their breakfast burritos are flavorful and satisfying, and the prices are quite reasonable. Don’t miss their incredible house salsa! The burgers and wings are well-prepared and delicious as well. They also offer an excellent selection of beers, both bottled and on tap. I highly recommend this place for anyone craving a delightful breakfast, lunch, or dinner!

Perfect place to feel guilty without feeling responsible for it. Great cheeses. Too bad they have no ketchup or salsas to go neither small containers where can take, tip: if an order to go, and better serve the additional ingredients you want for your food.
