Ikea - West Sacramento

My last two experiences at this restaurant were disappointing. Perhaps it was due to the timing, as it was nearly closing time for the kitchen, and they had run out of most spices and bottled drinks. I recommend getting your food before 4:00 PM.

I found hair in my food not once, but twice. Seriously, what’s going on? I’m really reconsidering coming back, which is a shame because the food is usually good. Also, we wanted to order something for my niece and when we asked about the children's menu, they only offered the meatballs, even though they had a whole selection of chicken options available. We barely had time to mention that we wanted the chicken before they rushed us into ordering the mashed potatoes.

The IKEA restaurant offers a variety of dishes, but the must-try is definitely the meatball plate. My last visit was prior to the COVID-19 shutdown in 2020. The meatballs are tasty, satisfying, and reasonably priced. While it’s not extraordinary, it's always a nice spot to grab a bite before wrapping up your shopping.

We love Ikea restaurant. Entire Ikea experience reminds me of Europe especially food court. Love their beverages as well. My favorite is pear drink.

The IKEA food court has many options to choose from and everything tastes freshly made. The main attraction is of course the swedish meatballs, but they offer other proteins such as salmon and this amazing cod fillet. They also have kids meals for less than three dollars! I cannot recall any other food establishment that can beat that price. I like how they serve their soft drinks in real glass cups. Service was great as well.
