Georgio's Pizzeria - West Reading

I am so glad that georgio is newly owned and makes a good vegan pizza. we've had it several times and it's a leak I've been waiting for for for years. I can't wait to try a stromboli!

Not only do they load a poor and a bit for vegan cake or boli, they have a bit of a call for not veg friendly. more than one person I know has been eating from here, was said to be vegan, just to find out that it wasn't even vegetarian. sample: speckfett in the pizza sauce. they found out after the fact that this was part of georgios recipe for many years. or there was the time that I ordered pizza from them and could say that it was made with regular cheese instead of vegan cheese and the staff argued with me about it and went on to talk about me with their coworkers while I stood there waiting to be made for a replacement. the kerl has constantly noticed how terrible and disgusting the vegan cheese is. yes very professional. last example, I will share, was the time that 3 of us ordered to eat, was said that it would be ready in 45 minutes to pick it up and the order was never enforced and never made. we waited another 45 minutes for them to make our food for which they did not offer a discount or apology. updated by previous review on 2021-09-29

The pizza is delicious and the service was also great. the brandup for vegan cheese seems a bit high and is the only reason I didn't give 5 stars. I will definitely try the stromboli again.

As the other reviewer said, it is regrettable that the shop uses daiya, which, as we know, is one of the worst brands that they can use (yes, it is still so popular? but it means so much to me that I can order my own cake with my omni friends! the pfefferoni sausage options are good, and I enjoy the stromboli happy for me, this place is a few blocks from me. I don't think I would travel for their cake, but if they are in the opposite it is worth it I would just pay one or two more dollars if they used a higher quality cheeze.

I ordered a 16 vegan cheese pizza over the phone. Fast and friendly service. My pizza came out of the oven just as I went in to pick it up! Perfectly on time! ​My expectations for the pizza itself were not very high as they use the Daiya brand of vegan cheese and I'm not a big fan of it, but wow, this place did Daiya some justice! It actually melted! So impressed. I ate the entire thing by myself for dinner and I have no regrets. I've been craving more ever since. I would like to see more vegan options on the menu, including different cheese options from brands other than Daiya. My only complaints are that they're not fully vegan, and I am just a little bit too far away for delivery.
