Orla's Wee Snug - West Perth

Hi guys I came here for some beers and it was really grate! But I was wearing a T shirt I got at the good charlot concert and the guy at the bar said I had to get out! He said it was gang colours but I put my jumper on and it was alllll good!! Hahah. Serious tho grate pub and heeps of Scottish guys their but there mint guys honestly. Just a grate place. Ps they poor the beers upside down Gav couldn't beleive it!

We had a very nice meal here tonight. The steaks were cooked to perfection and the staff were very friendly - couldn't ask for much more!

Had an early morning Breakfast with the girls from work and thought we would try this place. The service was swift and attentive so we didn't sit around waiting. The breakfast menu is small, but there is something for everyone. Three of us went for the Wild Mushroom with a poached egg and feta, which was quite nice, and the service was large. The other two opted for scrambled eggs on toast, which was a massive serve and they said very tasty. The coffee was hot and strong, and I loved the fact I could get a mug!! Will definitely try this place out again, maybe see what the after work scene is like.

For Australia Day we decided to go for brunch at the Orla's Wee Snug restaurant/pub. It was around 11am. There was a table of 4 peoples having lunch and one old man having drinks. It wasn't busy at all. We sat table 7 and we waited about 10min before the waiter ( Asian )came to take the order with his iPad . He barely looked at us and ask us three or four times to repeat ourselves for : still water / un eggs on toast + extra pouding / big fish breakfast .Took him then about 5 mins to take the order ( on his iPad again) He gave us some cold water in a steel bottle. The water was disgusting so I got up, brought the water back on the counter. He didn't see me as he was on his phone on Facebook. I needed to ask him to give us some bottles instead. He even didn't bother to bring them back to us and just left them on the counter and asked me to pick them up. Then I told him to come to bring them to me as it is his job and it was doing nothing. Finally brought them to us looking down and whispering things. You could definitely feel that he was pissed off. My partner ( IRIsh ) got up and we took the decision to leave as our first 20 mins experience in that pub were Terrible. We told him that he could cancel the food because we were leaving. He said that wasn't possible and it's only when my partner told him that we'll let the owner know about our experience that he looked petrified. The owner should hire qualified people or she is gonna lose the good reputation the pub had ( or maybe it's already too late )

Surprised to find such a small bar offering live music on a Friday night. Lots of character added to a previous coffee shop. Drink on the footpath or eat inside. Owners run the the bar and kitchen- wide range of beers but smaller range of bar foods well cooked and great value. We had a chicken parma and steak.
