Found this food truck parked at a gas station and decided to give it a try. I had no expectations going in and boy was I impressed! I've never had Jamaican bbq before to be able to accurately compare it but the flavors and smokiness was all there! You can tell the meat was slowly smoked and it was so tender and moist. Not one dry piece of meat in this plate! They also had fun bbq flavors and I loved the tanginess of them all and uniqueness (I think the one I got was guava infused) . The mac-n-cheese was by far my favorite! It was cheesy, smoky, and spicy.... I would recommend ordering this side Where I thought the dish lacked a bit was the rice and beans. They did not have much flavor which I was disappointed by. I wish I would have gotten more of the mac-n-cheese instead. The corn bread was average. Also, the food serving was not as abundant as I hoped for a $15 meal at a food truck. Nonetheless, the service was good and the food truck owner was friendly and even offered samples. Overall, I would recommend checking this food truck out and if I could I would give it a 4.5/5!
Best food truck around !! Reasonable prices for amazing food !!! I work by the Publix across the gas station it's located at and it's always a pleasure to have their food for lunch . My coworkers think so too!
I loved everthing I ordered. The mac and cheese was delicious and the j chicken was seasoned to perfection and tender and juicy. My only complaint is they aren't open on Sunday : Other than that 5 stars and 2 thumbs way up
Listen. I don 't usually chase a man, but when I do...he is serving some delicious ribs with macaroni and cheese. I was told about this food truck by a co-worker last year. I immediately was like nope . Then one day, I went to see him. I am sure doubt and judgement was written all over my face as I dissected the set up. There is no way the food could be as good as everyone was saying. It was hot outside, I was hungry and I had little faith in anything Jamaican styled being served from a food truck. As I scanned the menu, I became more and more impressed with the options. I ordered the j chicken with rice&beans, kale salad for my daughter (take home). I ordered the ribs with Mac and fries for me. He told me about the different sauces and to ensure that I found one that I liked he gave me one of each. I returned to work, sat down and opened the box. I took one bite of the ribs and darn near fell out my chair and rolled straight out the door. I immediately text messaged everyone that I knew a picture and his location. I called home, placed another order and went and picked it up post haste. FLAVOR CENTRAL! Tender, perfectly cooked everything. The spice for me was just right, meat a little heat...sauce a little sweet. The macaroni definitely has an island vibe to it. The kale salad ....wow. I don 't eat kale usually, but this was a style I could get into for sure. The food truck by the way was immaculate. I did a full inspection, trust me. I am pretty sure Mr. Clean winked at me from the counter. His food is so good that a friend drove up from Pembroke and I drove down to Boynton where he was once just to get my order. Any time I have an issue, he does not hesitate to make it right, and to be a small mobile business his prices are fair. If you ever see him, pull over and get you some. My favorite Palm Beach rib stop.
