Celebrity - West Palm Beach

Skeptical of soul food spots I decided to go big or go home to see if they were truly worth it. I tired the oxtails, lima beans and macaroni and cheese. DELISH. My partner had wings and fries and we both cleaned our plates! Only reason they received four stars is because I have an erk for exposed wires and the toilet in the restroom did not have a ladle to flush or paper towels. Delicious food, kind of warm--temp wise, but the food was enjoyable.

My first visit to Celebrity, it sits in the corner of the plaza. My order placed over the phone was fried pork chop, lima beans string beans. There is ample parking in the lot, but I parked in front of the restaurant. The lady said 15 minutes, I was there in 8. Celebrity is also a lounge, so when you walk in past the alcove, you're in the club. It was early so there wasn't anyone dancing, one man (sitting at the bar) had also placed an order. My order was ready and hot! Its good to know there is a authentic soul food restaurant in my area. I've tried two other soul food restaurants their food was too salty for me... The lady who took my phone order was pleasant in person too. The taste test (in my car), was excellent, the pork chop was crispy hot, limas string beans nice flavor, not too salty. Why not 5*, no dessert, no unsweetened ice tea, but I'll be back.

This is my new spot yes lawd. The smothered pork chops and smothered chicken wings awesome. I also had collard greens, lima beans, mac and cheese, black eye peas and corn muffins. Some really good ol fashion soul food. 10 's up

If u want a grown and sexy evening with a great crowd and MUSIC SO GOOD you can't sit still for long; this is your spot for Friday Nights. Free before 11am, great bar service and Food. Causal attire, free parking and decent area; not too fancy but hidden gem for sure. See u Friday.

Celebrating Bernard's Birthday. At Celebrity Restaurant and Lounge. We had a group of about 20-25. It was a nice turnout and a nice evening. Very nice adult crowd the dj was great. The drinks were awesome and so was the food. Thanks for the invite Mary.
