Luna Piena Italian Bistro - West Monroe

My wife and I love Luna Piena! It is definitely our preferred Italian restaurant in town, we like it much better than Geno?s or Olive Garden. Our favorite dish is the Linguine Genovese, but this time I got the Chicken Milanese and it was delicious as well!

Walked in and loved to spacious seating area. It was empty when we went so that was a plus. We had the cheese sticks for an appetizer and they were very good and fresh. I ordered the pasta combo and it was perfect. Not all pasta is cooked equal. Reallyenjoyed my visit and the waitress who's name I didn't get was very nice.

Very nice place, wonderful food and atmosphere. The food was hearty and hot. Our party tried out a couple of pasta dishes and some mixed entrees. The words that described the dishes were rich and flavorful . The veal picata would suggest you askfor light pepper but tasty! Crawfish Murphy was savory. Has jalapenos but easily avoided if you are shy. Everything was good.We had appetizers and one dessert too. The brick provides a warm feeling. The walls have nice colorful pictures. We wereseated right away on a Friday night. Server was excellent! God spot for a casual date night or family dinner. Not too noisyand feels comfortable. Parking is available on street beside restaurant or public lot across the street.

This is such a hidden gem! The wait staff was absolutely outstanding and so friendly. The menu had a ton of options even for the pickiest of eaters. The pink sauce was such a great addition to the fresh hot bread they serve. I highly recommend the chickenMilanese! We definitely will be back and can?t wait to bring friends when they come to town!

Atmosphere was good! Went for a late lunch and food came out quickly! Staff made a great recommendation! Rolls were amazing!
