Applebee's Grill - West Modesto

Didn 't even get the chance to sit down! This is unfortunately just a customer service review, as we were never greeted to sit down. My little family of four just attempted to dine-in. There was no one at the hostess stand so we waited. Several people (including the manager) came out of the back gossiping, but not one engaged with us. As we waited, I made eye contact with a couple of waiters but to no avail. After being ignored for a few more minutes, we left. I could understand if they were busy maybe, but the FIVE occupied tables could have waited a second, so we could have at the very least been shot a Someone will be with you in a sec... line. Going to drive to another location for our wonton tacos, this location need customer service training.

Garlic mashed potatoes weren't great or garlicky, but the ribs and burger were great ??

Love this restaurant. The service is good. Our waitress was very attentive and respectful. Food is awesome and I love their deals. Price is almost comparable to fast food now, but such better quality and atmosphere. Keep up the awesome service!Kid-friendliness: Great options for the kid menu. They were out of pizza that day. But the grilled cheese sandwich is a full sandwich with 2 pieces of bread cut in half. My daughter was amazed!

Normal can never pass up a perfect margarita but after this last visit not sure it will be number one on my list anymore. I was so disappointed.

Very mid service.. we came here earlier today and there wasn’t much people. I waited super long for my drink order from the bar even though it was slow. The host wasn’t super friendly either. Not a very welcoming atmosphere. There were flying nats around or table. Nothing like things flying into your nose while eating. We had to flag someone down to take the plates from our appetizers. We have several empty plates and they brought our dinner without trying to clear the table. Waited super long for steak sauce after getting our food.. we waited unnecessarily long times when they weren’t even busy. Our server dropped off our tab and told us to pay at the cashier. We all heard her. There wasn’t a tablet to pay at our table. So we all awkwardly stood toward the bar with our kids while the host checked us out. Won’t be back.
