Guisados - West Hollywood

Guisados tacos are a go-to for those nights when you're hungry but can't figure out what to eat. When you don't feel like cooking and can't make up your mind, Guisados is the perfect solution. The taco sampler is affordable and provides enough food for two, with a delightful variety of flavors and textures to satisfy even the pickiest taco lover. Each bite transports me back to Boyle Heights and East LA, all while I enjoy my meal in a charming alleyway in Beverly Hills. There's something truly special about this place; the staff makes you feel like you're dining in a friend's home. They are incredibly welcoming, warm, and friendly, making me wish I could eat there every day.

The prices are a bit high, but the tacos were absolutely delicious. The tortillas are thick and fresh, and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal.

The tacos here are fantastic; you really can’t go wrong with them. If you're visiting a Guisado location for the first time, I recommend trying the sampler plate to get a taste of several options. My favorites are the napal and the stringos (mushrooms), but the cattle are excellent as well. The handmade tortillas are fresh and thick, which makes a big difference. Be sure to try the aguas frescas—my favorite is the lemon, but the horchata is also delicious. This particular location in North Hollywood has some parking available, although it’s not the best option. Overall, the culinary experience is definitely worth it!
