May's Gourmet Delicatessen - West Hills

We have been regulars at Blue Line since they first opened, and we've always found the food to be delicious! The staff is incredibly friendly and eager to chat about Islanders Hockey. Recently, we had catering from them for two events, and the food was outstanding! Both times, we ordered the sandwich basket, which came with three generous side dishes. The sandwiches were super fresh and individually packed, which my friends appreciated. There was an impressive variety, and many people had a hard time choosing which sandwich to try. There was an enormous amount of food! In fact, there was an entire second layer of sandwiches beneath the top layer shown in the photos. When it comes to sides, you can select any of the salads they offer, providing a refreshing break from the usual coleslaw, potato salad, and macaroni salad that typically accompany catering orders from other places. Danny was fantastic in taking my order and ensuring that any food restrictions or special sandwich requests for our guests were accommodated. We will definitely be returning for catering and will continue to enjoy our regular visits for breakfast and lunch.

The blue and orange bagels are fantastic! They make for a great breakfast or lunch, especially for fans of Iceland or those who love a good meal. I can't wait for the next time I can enjoy the Oreo-Picks!

I visited Iceland, and my sister mentioned she wanted to bring bagels home because she had a friend who owned a local shop. I absolutely loved this place! As a lifelong fan of the New York Islanders, it brought back so many memories of Long Island delis that I miss. I really wish I had taken more pictures, but I adored the mural on the wall outside. I can't wait to return to New York!

Huge hero, made on request, beautifully packed. very clean. Salads looked amazing. Wonderful selection of bagel spreads. Four have to go home. Staff friendly. About 10 minutes to get hot sandwiches even though they were busy.

My husband and I are Islanders fans so of course we were excited to see that we live within minutes of an Islander’s Deli! We have picked up lunch here a number of times, and the food has always been fantastic. The owner is so incredibly nice and his staff is so accommodating. Recently we had a get together, so we ordered a 6 foot sub for our party and the food was amazing. Highly recommend!
