I ordered pizza online almost an hour ago and I'm still waiting. When we finally received the pizza, it tasted more like butter than the actual pizza. I ordered the big dinner box with buffalo chicken pizza, no onions, but it came with onions and without buffalo sauce.
When the employee finally brought out my meal and started ringing me up, all I had to do was glance at the soda cooler for her to huff and grab the soda I had paid for, just tossing it onto the stack of boxes. It felt like a clear message: paying for something doesn’t guarantee you’ll actually receive it. To top it off, the pizza I ordered with extra sauce was delivered without any sauce at all. It was lukewarm, and the crust had no seasoning. The breadsticks were undercooked and doughy, lacking any flavor. As for the Cinnabons, they must have been baked in the pizza oven because the plastic tray had melted to them, making them inedible. Honestly, it would have hurt less to throw my $40 out the window than to watch my family open a meal they couldn't eat and look at me in confusion and disappointment. I used to love Pizza Hut, but it seems they're more focused on flashy TMNT pizza boxes than on actually making a decent meal. After a grueling 14-hour day, including 7 hours on the road, all I received was a disappointing excuse for dinner. I’m not asking for perfection—just for them to prepare the meal the way they’re being paid to do.
Overall, quality was good and delivery was quick. The downfall was ordering a 1 topping pizza and forgetting to select the topping on the app. I called the store after placing the order and was told they couldn’t add it as the computer didn’t allow it and I’d need to place a whole new order. I feel like it’d be easy to make a written note or just add the topping while on the phone. It wasn’t a going to be a up charge as I had paid for it. I personally would have thrown the topping on or sent it on the side and let the customer add it. Regardless of what the computer says, it’s not a robot making the order yet. There’s also not a way to make the change on the app.
Our order was correct, delivery was sooo fast and the food was hot when it arrived!
