D&L Fish & Chips - West Elgin

My sister and I stopped here for the first time. We were impressed with the nice clean atmosphere. We ordered the perch dinner and asked before we ordered if it was yellow lake perch and were told yes it was. The perch we were served was barely edible and we only ate one piece each. We asked the waitress to check with the cook and were told that the box the fish came in was labeled wrong. We were offered no apology or anything else that would say "we hope you come back" so probably wouldn't recommend this place or go back.

Eat at D&L's you will not regret it !! It's a short distance from the 401 highway in Rodney, On. They have all you can eat Fish & Chips on each and every Wednesday.

As a tow truck driver, I often eat out. When I am in Rodney, this is the only restaurant where I am willing to spend my hard-earned money. I have visited many small town restaurants and this one is definitely the best value for money. The all-you-can-eat fish was surprisingly delicious, even though I don't usually like fish. I have tried many items on their menu, but breakfast is my favorite. It is satisfying and hearty. Sometimes I don't have time to eat at home or in the restaurant, so the takeout option is perfect for me. I simply call ahead and they let me know when my order will be ready. For takeout, I enjoy their lasagna, my kids love the spaghetti supreme, and my partner enjoys the quesadilla. I highly recommend this restaurant to my friends and family.

The Basa fish and fresh-cut fries at this restaurant are excellent! Don't forget to try the homemade tartar sauce. The blueberry ribs are a must-try dish. They also offer a nice selection of breakfast items after 11 am. The burgers and wraps are also delicious, and they have daily specials.
