Taqueria El Tio Ramos - West Dundee

The service was friendly and welcoming, and the restaurant was clean. I ordered a steak torta but was disappointed. The bread was typically fluffy and light, but this one was crushed and grilled. The steak was diced into small pieces that resembled rocks and was almost jerky-like in texture. Another table ordered burritos, which looked delicious, but they were also let down when the group of women found out that frozen margaritas were unavailable. I don't think I'll be returning, but if I do, I'll update this review.

Patience! I've eaten here before, usually opting for takeout. I paid with a credit card, and the woman at the counter hurried through the process and took a 20% tip for herself. I typically leave a tip for takeout, but it shouldn’t be 20% if I'm not dining in. That's poor practice. I suspect she might be the owner, as I’ve seen her around. This will be my last time picking up from here.

Be very careful with this place. they will be over fee for what is the actual price. I ordered a certain amount of tacos and they never gave me the right order and in addition they have accused me more for the price of each tacos. if they don't speak Spanish, they count their tacos and add the price!

The experience was not as good as I had hoped. The meat was quite salty, and they ran out of ground beef for my dad's burrito. The server's English wasn't very good, which made it challenging to place our order or ask questions, but she was very nice. If you manage your expectations, it’s an okay place.

This is as dirty as it can be. Table were dirty and smell like dirty rags , a lady was sweeping the floor right next us and wasn't even doing a good job. The waitress ignored when mentioned about the table been dirty and smelly. Workers were handling food without gloves, and one of them was cleaning his nose with his arm. Too busy talking and joking around. Too pricey and the orchata drink it was mostly chip milk. Second and last time there, no more chances. One star cause there are no zero stars. Left the place after paying for the so called orchata.
