Valley View Saloon - West Dover

Was motorcycling though the area and met a local at the gas station. We were talking and I asked for a recommendation for lunch. He recommended this place. Was not disappointed. We were seated quickly outside out back with a nice view of a creek and the woods. Service was attentive and super friendly. Great vibe at this place. I had a pastrami Ruben and my wife had a BLT with sweet potato fries. The bread is either baked in house or locally made. It was awesome. Food was great all around. The waitress checked on us often. Not intrusive at all just being conscientious. I wish I could remember her name. I think it was Kelly, but I could be wrong. Price was a reasonable $38 for two. Not cheap, but not obscene. Heading back to the are in a couple of weeks. Will definitely eat there again. Thank you for a nice meal

Valley View is a favorite winter time stop for a burger at the bar or one of their tables. They also have live music regularly (non-covid times?? and the staff is super friendly. It does get pretty busy in the winter so I recommend the fall or spring as the best time to visit, or for lunch.

Coming from New Jersey for the weekend didn’t know what to expect.... the bartender rammy was outstanding! Made us feel at home and like we were locals. Our waiter Danny was simple phenomenal! By far the best service we have had outside of jersey!! Plan on coming back for sure every time we come here!! Salute to this establishment

We have been there a couple of times when we visit Mount Snow. The service is great and the food is delicious!

We found this place on TripAdvisor and it did not disappoint. The staff was so friendly (as well as the regulars). If you are in the mood for a sandwich and beer at the end of a day on the slopes, you have to give it a try. The wings were fantastic, beer was ice cold, and the sandwiches were devoured by the family. The sweet potato fries and sauce were the perfect accompaniment one to to our dinner!
