A gorgeous pub, such welcoming staff, and our young server was super friendly, smiley and helpful, and we were made to...feel extremely welcome. The food was delicious, perfect portions and cooked to perfection. I can’t recommend this pub and it’s food enough. We’ll certainly be bringing all our weekend guests over, and in the meantime, look forward to popping in again very soon. Thanks to all for a lovely evening
First time we’ve visited here since been refurbished and it’s lovely . We had Sunday roast which was the best roast we’ve had for absolutely ages . Staff very friendly and GF was not a problem . Compliments to the chef , perfect . Outside...is amazing , camping, shepherds huts etc . Absolutely brilliant. Definitely worth a visit . Well done Gaggle of Geese
I can’t praise this place highly enough. The people who work there are so very friendly and so helpful props to Libby and Sarah). The pub is a cracker with a very high end indoor skittle ally. We stayed in a bell tent...which was roomy and very comfortable. The facilities are clean and the showers were alway hot. The site is family and dog friendly. It’s just such a lovely place to be. With booze, kids and dogs all in the mix, mishaps are bound to happen. The owners dealt with issues quickly and fairly. The site is set in a beautiful location with stunning places like Abbotsbury Swannery, Chesil Beach and more besides within easy reach. The last word has to go to Sarah and Libby though. They made our weekend. Just have a chat with them, you’ll know what I mean.
Great fun, excellent food! A lovely day out with fantastic music, beautiful setting and lovely staff.
Stayed here overnight in our motorhome. A great rural spot and amazing night time sky as there is no light pollution. The pub is great. Friendly welcome by the landlord and wonderful food. We had steak and it was cooked to perfection with a delicious...sauce. One of my pet hates is pubs that use frozen chips, here they are “proper chips”. It was quiet for our stopover but then it was a week day in Feb. I expect the pub gets very busy in the Summer months so a good idea to book a table in advance.
