New Inn - West Dorset

Very expensive drinks aimed at the tourists I suspect. Charged £6.90 for glass of wine that was listed as £6.40.

Looked on website at the mouthwatering photos of the food on offer but was very disappointed with the reality served, in particular the portion sizes. The burger was served with five sweet potato fries, the fish pie was over cooked and dried out and the lamb cobbler (poor lamb stew with one dry scone served on the side not baked on top??? , was served with lumpy mash reminiscent of school dinners. Sorry New Inn but we won’t be back.

Had a lovely lunch here today with family, highly recommend the fish pie, one of the best I have ever had. Will definitely be visiting again!!
